Accountable Health Plan, MSO Inc. is a Managed Services Organization (MSO)
that provides hospital claims processing and management services to other Independent Practice Associations (IPA). Currently, it manages its own IPA called Accountable Health Care IPA dba. Accountable Health Plan Medical Group.

George Matthew Jayatilaka, known most commonly as Dr. Jay, founded the organization
in 1993 with the premise that serving the local community in the greater Los Angeles
Counties would be best carried out with the formation of qualified physicians
and Health Care providers to care for the patient. Currently, the IPA
has contracts with over 500 primary and specialty
care physicians to coordinate care for over
100,000+ members.

An IPA is an association of physicians
and other health care providers, including
hospitals, who contract with an HMO to
provide services to enrollees, but usually
still see non-HMO patients and patients
from other HMOs.


Physicians who are contracted with Accountable Health Care IPA will be able to log in through a secured site to access view and/or submit eligibility, authorizations and claims online. To obtain access codes to access the web based application, you may contact our Provider Services Coordinator at 562-435-3333 during office hours.
